Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Nightfall History, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Use License
Permission is granted to temporarily view the materials (articles, images, card artwork, and other content) on Nightfall History for personal, non-commercial use only.
Content Ownership
All content published on Nightfall History, including articles, images, card artwork, and graphics, is the property of Nightfall History or its content creators and is protected by international copyright laws.
Accounts
Some features, including the trading card collection, require an account. You must be at least 13 years old to create one. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account.
One account per person. Creating additional accounts to get around limits on free packs is not allowed.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, abuses the site, or is used to attack or disrupt it. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, and we will.
Trading Cards
The trading cards are a free feature of this site. There is nothing to buy, and no payment is ever required to open a pack or complete the set.
What a card is. A card is a record in our database that entitles you to display it in your collection on this site. It is a limited license, not property. You do not own the artwork, the historical figure, or the underlying design.
No monetary value. Cards have no cash value. They cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out, they are not currency, securities, or tokens of any kind, and no part of this feature is gambling. Scarcity and serial numbering exist to make collecting enjoyable, not to create a financial asset.
No transfer or sale. Cards are tied to the account they were issued to. You may not sell, rent, trade, or transfer cards or accounts, and any attempt to do so is void.
Supply and odds. We publish print runs and drop rates and we intend to honor them for packs already opened. We may adjust supply caps, drop rates, and pack contents for future packs, and we may correct records affected by bugs, duplicate issues, or abuse.
Fair play. Using scripts, automation, multiple accounts, or any other method to claim more packs than the rules allow is prohibited. We may void cards obtained that way, reset a collection, or close the account.
No guarantee of availability. We may change, pause, or end the trading card feature at any time, and collections may not be preserved indefinitely. Because the feature is free, no refund or compensation is owed if it changes or ends.
Emails
We only email you what you have asked for: the newsletter if you subscribed, card reminders if you turned them on, and messages needed to operate your account. You can unsubscribe from any of it at any time, using the link in the email or your settings. How we handle your address is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer
The materials on Nightfall History are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim and negate all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
Historical content is presented in good faith and researched carefully, but history is contested and we may get things wrong. Nothing here is academic or professional advice.
Limitations
In no event shall Nightfall History or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Nightfall History, or out of the loss, alteration, or unavailability of any account or trading card.
Revisions
The materials appearing on Nightfall History could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Nightfall History does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. Nightfall History may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice.

Nightfall History has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Nightfall History of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.
Modifications
Nightfall History may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By using this website you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
